Welcome to Heathlands Primary Academy

The children, staff and I warmly welcome you to Heathlands Primary Academy!

We are a small and friendly primary school in Bournemouth proud to be serving our local community.  We provide a quality education and nurturing environment for our children from 3 to 11 years old.

Our modern, spacious facilities allow our children to explore and learn in a variety of ways using both indoor and outdoor learning environments. As well as outdoor learning spaces as an extension to the classrooms from pre-school to Year 4, we also have our own spinney, Maths Outdoor Learning Environment (MOLE) and roundhouse!

At Heathlands we know and understand that children learn in many different ways and our curriculum aims to provide a range of opportunities for everyone.  This includes visitors and experts, trips to museums and historical places, dress-up days and fundraising for local and national charities.  All of these empower our children and ignite their curiosity and thirst for learning.

As Headteacher at Heathlands I believe every child can achieve their potential regardless of their starting point - every child, no excuses! Every member of staff works incredibly hard for our children to ensure they have the best start to their education possible.

If you would like to know more please browse our website and arrange a visit.

I look forward to meeting you!
