Welcome to Heathlands Primary Academy

The children, staff and I welcome you to Heathlands Primary Academy!

I am incredibly privileged and proud to be the head teacher of our friendly community school.  I love my job because it indulges two passions of mine – working with children and learning new skills.  I believe every child can achieve their potential regardless of their starting point - every child, no excuses!

It is my priority to ensure that the education our children receive at Heathlands will enable them to achieve their academic potential and progress confidently into the next phase of their education.  It is my vision that all our children are filled with positive experiences, that they are aware of the endless possibilities that await them and that they are nurtured in order to develop within them, a confidence to embrace whatever comes their way.

Our modern, spacious facilities enable us to create a positive learning environment whilst our nursery to year six project based learning enables us to empower our children and ignite their curiosity and thirst for learning.

I hope that our website whets your appetite and gives you a flavour of Heathlands.  There is of course no substitute for a visit, so please come and see for yourself.   Please telephone the Admin Team on 01202 574452 to make an appointment.

I look forward to meeting you!

Naomi Shrimpton
