Foundation's gallery of learning - class pet!

Our class pet - Ziggy the Iguana goes home each weekend with one of his classmates.  He seems to be having a very good time!

Foundation's gallery of learning - Christmas.

The naughty elf was up to his tricks!

We were so excited to meet Santa and his elf.

We have been learning about fairy tales this term.

We made sandwiches (and taste tested) for Red Riding Hood's Grandma.

The wolf huffed and puffed and blew our classroom down!

Inspired by stories about crossing a river (Billy Goat's Gruff, Gingerbread men and The Great Race - for Chinese new year) we investigated floating and sinking.

To celebrate the end of our topic we walked to the local library in West Howe and heard lots of stories.  Most of us had never been to the library before and they absolutely loved it.

We have been learning about working as a health professional and we were able to bandage each other and listen to heart beats.

The police came to visit and our teacher got 'arrested', we loved dressing up in uniform and climbing into the van.

We have been learning about becoming professionals in sports and have had the opportunity to explore lots of different activities.

Oak academy Sports leaders visited us.

We explored different types of dance - ballroom, tap, street and ballet.
