"Healthy Active Lifestyles"

At Heathlands Primary Academy we will support excellence in Physical Education through promoting healthy, active lifestyles and engaging in a range of competitive, challenging and enjoyable opportunities: developing sportsmanship, friendship and a determination to achieve in physical activities and school sport.

At Heathlands our key priority is to increase children participation in physical activity.

PE Premium Grant

We plan to use our grant to:

Employ specialist sports coaches to coach a variety of sporting activities for children on Fitness Fridays and run the following activities through the summer terms

 

Sailing: 6 sessions for 10 children with the aim to achieve RYA Level 1 qualification. 

 

These activities will give the children skills they can choose to develop further at a later date and can be validated by the Children's University
